I have been trying to figure out why my car came with 18" wheels and everyone elses have 17" wheels. Apparently the wheels on my car are from the Crown Victoria. Does anyone else on here have Crown Vic Wheels? Why are they on the Mustang?

The CV comes with 16 or 17 wheels only, this includes the CVPI. What makes you think the wheels are from a CV?

I know for a fact that you cant take GT Takeoffs and install them on a CV as-is becuase they rub on the calipers so I have my doubts the 18" you have are factory CV OEM.

Merc Marauder, does have 18", but not the CV, and I have my doubts the 18" is interchangeable between the Mustang and MM.

My gut instinct is the dealer equipped your car with the optional 18" Premium Polished wheels that are a listed option for the 2008 V6 Premium. You either got them for free, or didnt know you paid for them. Presuming you still have your window sticker, what does it say?

Did you order your Mustang or buy it off the lot? Ford does sell 18" Bullets.
I'm thinking if you bought it off the lot, it is possible that the dealer put those on. Much like stripes or other options.....the dealer adds them.

saw these wheels on a V6 at a dealer here in Louisiana. I thought it was curious at the time, especially since it was behind the building not out front. The dealer must have slipped them on when you werent looking! I'm jealous, they wouldn't let me order my mustang how i wanted it year one.

I don't have my window sticker close by (too freakin' cold outside to go get it) but these are definitely the stock wheels that came on my car. I do know that the 235-18's (same size as on my buddy's '08 Bullitt) are listed on the sticker.

I've seen these wheels on a few '08 Premium/Pony cars at different dealerships around here. I seriously doubt that all these dealerships would all be putting these wheels on these cars.

I like 'em; they're somewhat unique and you definitely don't see them very often.

These wheels came optional on the 2008 package. You had to pay extra for them, if you didn't you got lucky. They were only available on the V6 models starting in 2008. Im not sure if the 2009 models have this option. I dont have a pdf file of the 2008 ordering guide, but if you have one they are on there.

Mine are listed as part of the Premium package. 18" Polished Chrome Wheels. I actually did not want them on the car since I am not a big fan of chrome. But my wife and son liked them. There are the exact same wheels as shown in the pictures above. When I left the dealership with the car there was a car that followed me out at the had the same wheels. I did not pay attention to whether it was a MM or CV.

I bought it off the lot. There were a few with these wheels in different colors.

I have them on my 2009 mustang premium coupe. They are part of the V6 upfitters package---18" polished alum forged wheels. The package cost is 2,395 straight from the factory. I think these cars were supposed to go to shelby for supercharging but instead were sold to the public.

I hadn't heard that before. What else besides the 18" wheels did they fess up for the V6 premium?

Mine has leather and heated seats. As well as the my color dash.
