Default Mustang GT grill on a V6

Well I've been looking for a converstion fog light kit for my mustang v6, but I can't find an affordable price, or one that looks right.

So I was wondering if I could buy the GT front bumper:

Speed Concepts - TO1007 - 2005-2008 Mustang GT Front Bumper cover takeoffs Paint to match

And then a GT Grill

Speed Concepts - TO1006 - 2005-2008 Mustang GT Front Grille and Fogs package takeoffs FR3-11000-05AA

Can I simply just take this to a shop and have them remove the V6 bumper and grill, and add the GT?

Thanks!

Why not just do the grill?

I don't think the grill alone fits

Correct... The GT grill won't fit the V6 fascia without modifications. Even then, it doesn't look quite right.

The GT front clip and grill idea will work just fine. You can get GT takeoffs at www.newtakeoff.com or www.ninosport.com

You'll need a GT wiring harness and switch to use the fogs..

There is a GT style grill that will fit the V6 too. And I think it comes with the harness and everything. I'll see if I can find it.

Do you think I should go with the GT bumper and Grill, or with that kit?

It'll all be around the same price

and I do have bumper damage to my current V6 bumper so it would be hitting two birds with one stone

you know?
