i see a bunch of guys running these 70mm throttle bodys. would i notice a gain by installing one of these? is the opening a diff size from stock as to need a differrent cai fitting? thanks

It will probably gain you nothing. I have not seen a throttle body gain any power for an engine unless the engine is highly modded and is starving for air from the small size of throttle body. But they do give some throttle response too. I could be wrong on this because I have not looked at the 4.0's too much but I don't think this case would be any different either.

id say youll need more air to accomodate(spelling?) it. more hp will be seen with a turbo or s/c im guessing

Yeah you may see 2-3hp... Nothing noticeable.

Yea its 2-4 HP depending, and I believe the stock one is 68mm if i'm not mistaken. If you do decide on one make sure you follow the instructions

thanks guys, i had a feeling you would say this. thats a pretty good chunk of cash for a couple hp. i guess i`ll apologize right now for my spelling in all my future posts as well ( i`m better with tools than a keyboard)

2-4HP is what I've heard. Nothing noticeable.

throttle bodies dont usually do anything for peak power, but they do affect mid range where its more important, using physics smaller TBs work better on NA builds because of air velocity.
