i don't have 3k to blow.. i would save up for the gt tranny if i needed to but apparently it's a lot cheaper to just put the v6 tranny in so i'll just do that

It would probably be comparable in price to take your mods off, sell your car and buy a standard transmission v6 mustang. All the trouble you're going to go through isn't going to be worth it with wiring, computer, etc.

the gt 5spd is a bigger tranny. The one you need is the t5 tranny from a v6. The bell housing is on the tranny, all you need is the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, linkage.
