Default Just installed pypes axelback and there are some problems, help?

so i just installed my new pypes axelback street pro on my v6 mustang and im have a few issues.
1st- there is now exhaust coming out the odorless water vapor
2nd- the exhaust is extreamly quiet its hardly louder than the stock exhaust
3rd will it break in because at this point im not impressed, and just to make itclear it was installed perfectly. IS THERE ANY THINH I CAN DO WITH THE RESANATORS TO MAKE IT LOUDER??

Well it does seem like you have some problems.

1) Could you be smelling the fiberglass in the mufflers burning?

2) Have you heard what your exhaust is suppose to sound like? My old man has a V6 firebird with Dual exhaust and it isn't much louder than his car was stock. My stock GT is nearly louder than his aftermarket V6 catback he has.

3) Yes, breaking in an exhaust makes a difference. From my experience, with new mufflers/exhaust you usually burn out the fiberglass insulation within the first week of driving. Sound will not increase/decrease from this. Reasonators will only make it quieter not louder. If you wanted louder sound you should go with glass pack mufflers not full sized mufflers. Unless you get flowmaster 40 series. IMO, they are too obnoxiuos though.

get those things nice and hot.... go for a little road trip and when you get back it should settle to the normal sound which should be a little louder.
