Anyone know if a GT 6 gauge cluster will work in our 4.0's? If so, would the speedo be acurate? I got a local boneyard with a wrecked GT, mileage is almost exact. I got the 4 gauge now, looking to upgrade.

A 6 gauge cluster adds the oil pressure and battery gauge. I could honestly care less that the speedo goes to 140, just want it to be acurate.

well i think the v6 premiums have the 6 gauge cluster, just not the 140 speedo. idk if the spedo will be accurate tho. i'm sure its nothing a tune cant fix

my car came with my color, but only registers 120. it also has the 6 gauges. that could be an option if you have a little extra money, the mycolor is a really cool addition. i have pics in my gallery

hey chopperman, did you pick up that cluster? i`m wondering if that oil pressure guage is mechanical like the old school guages or electronic.

Nope, never got it, the putz at the yard decided he wanted 250$ for it after he quoted me 100$. Even showed him I could get it brand new online for 240, he said he didn't care. Oh well........
The connection is electrical, it's already there. The cluster gets all it's info from the computer.

ya, i sure was hoping he could have got that and installed it to tell us how it went and all the scoops. but burnrubber has it in his v6( the color/6 guages diff speedo) so maybe they are around. quite a while back there was a post about installing the my color, and i think it left off that certain cars were wired for it and some werent, but there was nothing positve. so the mystery continues......
