Oh man, I waited so long to get these puppies in. I had a local shop do them--they say they've done many Eibach kits. They installed the Eibach Pro-Kit. Suppose to lower 1.5 inches all around (mine is a vert.). I immediately brought my car back to my garage were I measured before the springs, measuring ground to apex of wheel well, right over the wheel hub. The front is expected, from 28 1/4 to 27 1/4, a one inch drop. The rear is where the problem is. Stock, 29 1/4 and now 26 15/16. That is 2 5/16. Far to much for these springs.
What the heck could have happened?

I installed my back springs by myself...it's a 10-15 minute job. If the shop messed up on the back...that is horrible. All you have to do is just unscrew the bolt that holds the shock, take the spring out and put the new one in. I have no idea what the problem with yours could have been.

I sure hope so, can't imagine them not. I worry a a little about driving to work in the morning the way it is. Actually, it looks great (see pic), just can't figure out the problem. I have a call in to Eibach as well in case of the possibility of bad springs. But since the rear is level, I doubt it.

That does look a little low, kinda looks like you have a dead body in the trunk wieghing it down. Id take it over to the shop that installed them and make them look at it and show you what the spings look like. Does look good though, the wheel well is almost gone even with stock tires.

Wish I could look, but at work right now. I talked to the Eibach install tech and he said even if they were, it would not impact the degree of lowering.
Could still be a number of things but my money is on bad springs at this point. Eibach needs the work order number on the springs, but that means getting the car up to look. He had me measure from center wheel to top of well and send pictures of each wheel. He will compare to their range, although he said it seems too low. The performance shop is working on a couple ideas too. Wish I could get it up to take a look. Concerned also about the isolators on the coils since they are still on the OEMs. I am assuming the isolator pads are in, but need to check that as well. Of course neither of those will lower it another inch however.
I read somewhere that there is a small percentage of bad springs. I hope that is it.
I should mention also that the ride is not good at all, way too bouncy. More as I get it.

Got the car up today to look around with the installer. Springs are in correctly and the isolator pads are in. We got the model numbers and work order numbers off the springs to give to Eibach...I sent them already to the tech support guy.
I hope tomorrow I can get an answer (wishful thinking I know). The ride is very poor, a lot of bouncing and hitting bottom on speed bumps. Can't even enjoy my new mufflers
Will keep you posted!
