It all depends on what you want your end result to be. I have the Eibach Pro Kit, and I absolutely love it. You're saying you only want to lower an inch, so I would highly recommend them, as they lower 1.0" - 1.5".
yeah i thinking 1.0" in the front and 1.5" in the back.Ill look into them thanks

This all looks like good advise. But here are two things to consider:
1) Regardless of what the adverts say, you likely will not get away with the springs alone...depending on the ride you want, other suspension mods may be needed.
2) As YOU decide how low you want your car, the springs may not alway agree. They seem to settle a little differently with various configurations, such as year, dampers and stock suspension. Be open minded to at least the 1/2 inch.

My Eibach Pro kit handles well, and looks decent, but be advised, that 1 inch doesn't give it a HUGE lowered look that you may be looking for, in fact, the pro kit actually is fairly subtle in my opinion. If I had it to do over (which I may someday) I would have gone with the sportlines and dealt with the added expences of camber plates and adjustments, so I could have had that "super low" look that grabs your eye on so many of the modded mustangs here, or elsewhere. My main problem is that in the pro kit, the arse end of the stang is still very high, and with the sportlines, the rear goes down as much if not more than the front. I am currently entertaining the idea of putting some shorter springs in back to make up for the ''stinkbug" look that having a high rear end gives you. There is a kit on lmp performance website of K&R rear springs only that lower 1.75 in the rear, and my Eibachs only lowered about 1 inch. My front is as low as I wanna go, but the rear is still to high for my taste. Take that into consideration when choosing. Nobody (well at least most of us) likes a stinkstang. Even is good, and most moderate lowering kits don't shoot for even, they go lower in front, and a LITTLE lower in back.
Good luck choosing.
I was going to ask a similar question. I am considering either the Eibach Sport-lines or the H&R. Also, I will definitely go with caster-camber plates for alignment, but as I daily drive mine (meaning no track action) I am thinking of foregoing the bumpsteer kit. Any opinions or advice on this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Bump steer is more an annoyance than anything. I've learned to live with it. Just requires 2 hands on the wheel more often.
wuz up my man this gt power i lowered my stang and i had the same decision u do eibach without a doubt is the most popular lowering kit and steeda is good to but in my oppinion the bang for your buck would be some BBk lowering springs but it does depend on how big a drop u want to
I went with the Ford Racing Lowering Springs, Rides great.. I'd like to think my ride isn't any more bumpy then stock, there are times its rougher- but its not really noticeable at all. It is 1.5in all around, not too low at all, looks great- handles good. The only thing was, i never went with Camber plates, i went with the camber bolts and the one set was not enough for alignment.. So i just had to order a 2nd set last night..

I've been researching for a while and I'm pretty sure I'll be putting some Eibach Pro Springs on my car. Check out AmericanRacing.com - they have a good selection of springs at good prices.
