Default Long tube Headers inquiry

i want to get some long tube headers. but are unsure how far they go back. do they get rid of the cats, and would i have to get a new mid pipe. i just recently put a dual exhuast kit on and it bolted on to the stock y-pipe. i was wondering if longtube headers just meet that stock y-pipe so i dont have to go through the hassle of buying a whole new setup.

this is the exhaust kit i got

with long tube headers you have to buy a new mid pipe setup. and they dont get rid of your cats. but if you want headers without buying a new mid pipe and shop work get shorty bolt right up to your exsiting y pipe want sound and hp its gonna cost ya

You people do realize that for a turbo set up you get custom headers made don't you? Look at a turbo engine and then tell me that they are stock or regular headers...

with a turbo you may need to modify your headers b/c the turbo works by recycling exhaust pressure.. hence drilling into the headers may be required

if youre willing to put down the $$$ go w/ a supercharger, benefits of the supercharger: you'll get no turbo 'lag' (aka the powerboost is instant), you wont have to modify your exhaust, and itll look sexier in your engine bay!
