Default Need advise on correct C&L CAI position

Can anyone tell me or show me pictures of what position a C&L CAI should be in once installed? Is it parallel to the ground, tilted downward slightly etc...?

Thank you.

It's going to slope downward just slightly from the throttle body to the heat shield.

Yeah the C&L one is kind of weird, when I installed it I was worried on what it was supposed to look like, it ended up just toucing the top part of the heat shield. It was a slight slope downward from the T/B.

I hope this helps you a bit. I still dont know how to secure the heat shield, i just put 1 screw on it, but no clue what to do to the other end, attach it to the ABS with the zip tie it came with would look ugly so i just left it like this.
