need help with annoying dash rattle

has anyone else on here had a problem with a dash rattle? its caused by bumps and uneveneness in the road and if i hold the top dash cover towards the windshield it stops rattling. my question is #1 has anyone on here experienced this and #2 does anyone know if the top dash cover come off or is it part of the dashboard assembly? any help from all of you would be great as this noise is driving me to the breaking point. thanks in advance!!!!!

i dont know if its related, but i get a rattle/vibration/noise from right in frt of the drivers seat from the intrament panel,,,its the pc of plastic thats in between the spedo and the tack, on the bottom of the cluster, just below the odometer. if i stick a finger into that space and press down, or push that plastic pc forward or backward it goes away.

If you take off the front part of your dash you will notice that a lot of the pieces have felt strips on it to reduce noise from rubbing. If you take apart the top part you could add some felt and see if that works.

Check the A pillar covers. They tend to rattle when cold. As for the dash cover, it's one piece with the entire dashboard.

Wow i am having the same problem. When i go over bumps it rattles and sometimes when im shifting gears the dash also seems to rattle. What can i do to fix it!?!?!
