Looking to get a supercharger for my 2006 Mustang. I need some help.
I'm looking to get a supercharger that will add somewhere around 100 horse power. Anybody got any ideas on a good company to buy something like this from?
Check out Brenspeed, I've been eyeballing the Vortech V3 package myself. They have a pretty good deal if you take your car to them to have the install done, free house for the night & use of a vehicle. www.brenspeed.com

vortech and explorerexpress with their x charger are the only superchargers out for the v6. both are pretty close to 100+ hp increase, and they both have their pros and cons. do some research and youll find out what you want. brenspeed told me they could instal a vortech on my car so im sure theyd do that for you too, just get a hold of them. i tihnk im gonna wait tho, and get the x charger when it comes intercooled. you could also go turbo if you really wanna make some big numbers, so far a turbo cant be beat as far as hp and tq gains.

There's a group buy going on right now for the Powerhouse turbo setup. Decent price. Tons of power. One guy has run an 11.0 quarter mile. Another did 11.4.
If I didn't have an X already, it would be a tough choice for me between the 2.
i saw a video of a v6 with a roots type sc it was a screamer in the that is bad ass kinda way NewTakeOff : Featured NewTakeOff // on the PowerTV Network
i dont see why more ppl don't sc there v6, the old sc 3.8L v6 .tunderbirds are faster than the v8 t birds
turbo are cool but they will not pass smog in cali
I went with explorer express. Xlnt kit and easy to install and the newer ones will be intercooled for additional ponies. Looks good, sounds good and is very reliable.
on 93 oct I picked up
about 116 HP at the wheels. to me the X looks more balanced on the engine, not like a procharger or vortec that just make the engine compartment look cluttered, just my opinion.

I agree with mustangcr8z on the balanced engine compartment look

i wish my experience with the x charger was as great as the others saying "get the X" my car is currently a paper weight and every time i fix it, something else breaks, im about to torch the damn car

is it the Xcharger itself causing the problem or the added power from it causing the problem?
Didnt you buy it used also, not that it should matter.
