well i just got my AFE cold air intake kit stage 2 on my v6 2006 mustang.
i finished all my installing except for one small thing. the kit came with this aftermarket hose that connects my intake to the engine. well basically i plugged the hose to the intake perfectly fine. but when i connect it to the engine at the other end. the hose wont fit... wat do i do? emi doing something wrong??
this is not my mustang. but im showing example. the yellow arrow is where i connected my aftermarket hose. the white one is the place where im having trouble putting that in.
what happens if i dont use that hose? and does it make a big difference.
thanks

ooo so basically if i dont connect that then. i could hav a problem??
wat i did basically was that. i found a lil tube that goes in to that hole. but its pretty weak. it will come off if u take it out very easily. but i drive it around and it still stays in place.
will that work fine??

i had a hard time getting that hose from my jlt on that fitting too, but it will. you have to remove the fitting that plugs into the valve cover from the hard pipe. i had to cut a small slice in the hard pipe to get the plastic elbow fitting off. if you have to, put a drop of oil in the hose to get it over the fitting.

i remember when i put my K&N intake kit in. i had to cut the plastic hose then put it in the the little pipe that they gave me then connect that the the intake pipe.
