The V6 Bumper and GT bumper are totally different. If you buy a GT bumper then you will have to stick with ONLY GT grills. A V6 Grill will not fit right in a GT bumper. I replaced my V6 front and back with GT bumpers and all you will need for the front is new splash gaurds because there will be like a 3 inch gap that wont be covered at the bottom, but if it bothers you they can be replaced with GT ones easly and they are cheep.

Okay so If I buy the GT take off grill with the foglights, bring them that and the GT bumper, along with the wiring kit and the splash guards and im good to go?
they have a grille for the V6 that looks JUsT LIKE the GT grill, only fits the V6
google it.
that way u dont gotta buy new bumper, have it painted buy new grille, it gets costly.
if you do buy a used bumper, if it has the light brackets great if not make sure the bracket holes arent broke, its hard to get the riveted bracket off!
save $120 either way and make ur own harness and put in a rocker switch like i did

seams about right. remember the hharness is like 68 and the switch is like 60
so thats 128 off the top.
shipping is included.
thats why if you make your orn harness liek i did, witch cost me less than $10 with the rocker switch. you can find just the grille and put it in. since it snaps in u dont need teh bumper. i think ive seen the V6 grilles that look like the gt ones for around $200 alone.
the harness is a simple design, i rounted it through some split loom, the finder, under the cowl. its pretty easy.
but if thats what you want, on that you plug the harness in, then take part of the console off ( easy to do ) replace the switch, then your good to go.
i wish ida known it first... i got a freaking $600 front end.
one my momma skinned up

This all seems like It's going to cost me a lot of money. I need a new front bumper anyways since mine is damaged.
The only thing I don't understand is this whole 3 inch hole there will be if I install the GT bumper and grill on my V6??
you can fit a gt grille in your v6 bumper. a lot of guys have done it, you just gotta hole your mouth right. but getting that v6 gt grille would be even bette. this spring sometime ill be getting a bullitt grille and putting it in my v6 bumper. should look pretty gnarly.

BS that grille dont fit lol i tried! i followed step by step instructions, you have to cut a few tabs on the grille that dont line up. then when u fail and get the gt front end it sags lol.
u get the grille in the V6 it bowes. getting it out to replace a bulb... good luck
but maybe its just me.
get the right part for the right job

hmm, mayb its just your car. i helped my buddy put one in his v6. it was a GT grille that another guy with a GT we know replaced and just had extra. we figured free grille, might as well try ad see if it will fit. i watched that video demonstration and it worked just the same. no cutting tabs at all. fit good, does have a small gap but you have to get really close to see it.
