You should be able to pull/work it out of the valve cover and the hose attached to it.Usually very easy to do.Replace and your good to go.

Clean it good and it should come right out.Is it stuck to the rubber grommet on the valve cover?Your right.I checked AZ,OR,and Advance. No pcv vlave.Don't know if you could take it and match it up with one?Hope their not too expensive at the dealer. After you get it out, shake it.If you hear a rattle, good,if not bad.But since your getting blow by i'm sure it's bad.Didn't see if you got your S/C problem fixed?Bad cylinder?

i thought it was fixed, now im wondering, its not the PCV, ive got oil all over the engine bay, ive got blow by, it was enough to pop the PCV tube off my intake by the filter. im seriously getting to the point where im about to call ford and tell them to come get the 3000lbs paper weight they sold me

Are you sure you don't have something blocking the PCV system?

If it cracked you valve cover, you've got excessive pressure from something.

I thought you lost your #1 cylinder from detonation?

And also found a loose EGR a while back?

A leak there could lean you out enough to crack a ring land. That's probably how your plug got smashed.

Now that the piston isn't sealing, you're getting tons of blow-by.

You had no/low compression on #1?

I wasn't here when you had your earlier problems, but was somewhere else I guess, with this hobby for over 38 years, 48 if you count when I actually started tuning sports cars at age 5.

Your cylinder isn't sealing, check the spark plug, especially your number 1, and see if it is really fouled and wet.

That's a chipped piston, cracked, or just a ring-not-sealing problem, and calls for internal work.

The blowby will as you say, clog the PCV, plug it up, seize and make it pop off, that's a result.

Keep rolling in the meantime with some Lucas Oil Stabilizer, and go to Ford for Warranty.

Did you fix your cylinder problem? If the top ring land is broken, that's your problem.
You should also be using a separator if your FI.
You can see mine hanging on the firewall.

That oil separator mod is a good one. I have to empty mine about every 2 weeks.

That's a bunch of oil that would have gotten sucked in to the intake, lowered octane, crudded up valves and all kinds of bad stuff like that.
