Default SCT tuner procedure question

When I load a tune, my SCT XCAL3 asks "do you want to change options"? It has a "keep previous" "change" and "no". It also has a "use default options". I think I know what these mean, but cannot find it in writing anywhere. When I get a new tune it's kind of confusing. Can someone tell me what these terms mean please? Thanks in advance for any help.

Change Options: Modify Tune Parameters

Keep Previous: Flash using the last parameter changes you made

Change: Change the current parameters

No: Do not modify Tune

Default: Revert back to the written tune as it was from the original tuner.

if you have custom tunes in your x3, it wont let you change anything, even though it says that. the tunists dont want anyone messing with the tune, trashing motors then coming back at them so they dont leave any options open. i`m pretty sure i tried mine and i couldnt change anything.

That's not true. Most permit some level of adjustability..

He might not permit any adjustment on his tunes. It's up to the individual tuner to decide if they'll allow it.

Interesting... I had one custom tune that was like that. I went back to the tuner and asked him to redo it to turn it on. It's ridiculous to have to get a new tune for simple things like gear or tire changes.

What I meant was I had a tune from a different vendor that had no user adjustability.
