if thats what you have now, seperate pipes on each side, i wouldnt mess with the x. keep what you got. i dont know that making a h would do much if anything. suposedly it equalizes the 2 sides.

I had single exhaust on my 06 4.0L and I got dual exhaust put on. They cut it from behind the catalytic converter and added a pipe and muffler. Would it be a X or a H pipe or would I have to run a whole exhaust system?

Don't worry about an x or h pype, all it is going to do is change the sound quality. H pypes are more of a "vintage" sound and x pypes have the sound more like a euro car or indy car exhuast. the true duals you have, will be just as much hp, just with a seperated burble like old muscle cars have. Don't bother spending another penny. It is golden if you have duals from the cat"s" back.
