Default SCT tuner malfunction and rough idle after tune.

well, as some of you know ive had a ton of trouble with my sct livewire. i guess im going to have to send it back in sometime soon cuz i really hate this thing. this time, similar to last, my screen is messed up. it got to the point where i had to mess with my brightness and contrast settings so much that now its completely blue, and i cannot read any of my display, only the SCT and info screen when it first starts up. i need to return back to stock, but i have to read my screen before i can do that. then i will be able to send it back, AGAIN! also on a side note, ive noticed a little bit of a rough idle. ill have to post tomorrow to tell you if its only in drive or also in neutral, but its kinda getting annoying. its not that its going to die, it just has a second or two when it acts like it stuggles then its fine. only happens every 30 sec of so when im stopped. its been going on for a while, but does it sound normal? new plugs needed(theyre stock, 23000mi)? thanks

You can but then you can't associate the unit with the misfire. You have this thing as a fuel cutter? Then maybe the computer has memory like your automatic trans and say seat position 1 your seat moves for you and seat 2 moves for the old lady sorta memory to the trans to throttle memory?

I would remove the battery cable and let the unit lose the memory or if there is a memory to default back to zero like no one remembers my seat position or radio stations is chit look key dare I was going to buy plugs but I lost my radio/seat/trans memory is nice try you wasted my time it was a bad plug all along the unit soaked my plug rich is dare it is

have you been having issues with the SCT device where when you flash the car it won't start, and then you have to flash the tune again and then it starts?

Curious because I have had that issue with the XCal3's and didn't know if it plagued the Livewires too.

well i would hope so, wouldnt want anyone else to waste their money. ive never had a problem with flashing back and forth between tunes. i tinhk im going to get a screamin demon coil and livewires. see if that solves my rough idle. as for the tuner i still havent found out what i need to do to fix it, im just afraid something will break down and i wont be able to reflash back to stock so my dealer will fix it under warranty. lol
