This happened before I changed my gears, and it is still happening, every once in a while, If I ask the girl to do too much, she will down shift once, the decide that it wasn't enuf so it downshifts waaaaaaay to much and runs the rpms up to like 6000+ rpm's and when that happens, of course I feather the pedal a little to get it back down to a reasonable rpm, and it takes for.... f...ing EVER to re-engage. It literaly sounds like when a guy misses a gear in a manual it is like rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrvroooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmrrrrrrrr (like that sound effect?) anyway, is this the normal limitations of my
tranny, or is something fouled up? when it is spooling down from that high rpm, there isn't any engagement with the flywheel from what I can tell, it litteraly is like the "auto" missed a shift. I have had c4,c6 autos, turbo 350's and turbo 400's (I know icky chevy's) but NONE of them have ever acted like this. It is bizzare.
If this has ever happened to anyone else out there then I will assume that it is due to the fact that this
tranny respondes to computer imput rather than machanical means. Otherwise, It kinda has me worried. Also, when I run ran the quarter mile with the 3.31's still in it, Right at the end of the quarter, it would shift into 5'th then without fail it would downshift into fourth again wich ran the rpms' up through the stratosphere. It would shift into 5th, then run up and up and up in rpms, then for some stupid reason the
trans would decide that It wasn't making enuf progress and downshift when everything was going just peachy.
Just looking for input. Thanks
Bill.
