Default Screamin' Demon Coil? Livewires?

What exactly does this do for a v6? I've read that it "This will burn the fuel mixture more efficiently for increased performance and better
fuel mileage" But is this true? Does anyone on here have one that could tell me what their experience is? Also what do the livewires do if i get them?

Please help, i dont want to be wasting my money on something. Thanks

one of my favorite upgrades

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...n-install.html

get the live wires, bigger, better sheilding, ment to carry hotter spark

stock is 32,000V the coil is 45,000

it will run with stock wires, but get the live wires.

ive herd of some useing msd wires, less resistance, but that can cause some undesired interfearance, not sure if anyone has had any with MSD or not, but i went with the wire that comes with the kit.

the thread i wrote will tell u howe to put it on, even though its a no brainer, as well as a current coil/cyl map.

besure to use single ground plugs gapped out to .65

Definitely worth the money, installed it yesterday. The car idles smoother (which put an end to a rattling that I have had for some time now that would show up when sitting at a stop light). Throttle response is a little bit better and I will have to wait and see if the mpg increases over the next couple of weeks.

By that time the oem wires are probably pretty shot. So new coil and wires can regain lost hp.

I just replaced my oem wires with MSD 8.5mm superconductor wires recently. 30k miles on the oem wires.

Car runs a bit better and my mpg went up a bit. Didn't do the coil though.

The resistance on my old wires was all over the place. 6k to 15k ohms if I remember right.

Hello all. I have a 06 gt. Just mounted a pair of 40 series flowmasters. Sounds great. Wondering what would be the next best performance bolt on for my car that cost no more than 1 grand. Thanks for all the help

So it isn’t just my car with a marginal idle at stop lights. Checked into it, and the Screamin’ Demon coil isn’t CARB certified, so it’s not street legal in CA, dang. State inspector told me I can do the plug wires though.
