Hey guys, i just installed a JLT intake on my 2007 V6 Mustang. I tuned in with my SCT power flash and its been running great in the car, and there is definitely a increase in performance. One small isue has come up after the install though. Whenever i am at higher RPM's, and i accelerate, there is sometimes a thud under the car. The intensity of that thud is dependant on how hard i accelerate. It doesnt always happen, its random. My car is Auto. Has anyone had this problem before, or know anythign about it and if its something i need to give immediate attentiont to? Any responses are appreciated!

thanks stlwagon for moving this back. i was thinking might be a motor mount issue. we need more info. it happened after the jlt and tunes were installed? i dont think it has anything to do with the cai.

It happens right when i push on the gas. So before the shift takes place. Odly enough only at higher RPM's, or higher gears, never in first or second. I am going to check int he morning to look for any motor mount issues.

its sound like a bad ujoint on the driveshift by the rear end. my friend had that same problem in his truck
that could be it. if you can pinpoint where the noise is coming from, would help. get under the car, ( jack it up, block the tires, use a jack stand too for safety) grab the drive shaft near the joints with both hands wiggle hard up and down and sideways. look for any movement. if its sloppy, they are shot.
