My 2007 Mustang V6 does not start every time its 30 or below!
I have sent her in 4 times now because the engine wouldn't start. All of the electricity in the car work, but when I turn on the ignition, nothing. I just bought the car in October and it has 7000 on it, so its relatively new.
Is this a known problem or has anyone else had this experience? I already have a new starter and wiring in the thing for going in so much.
does the starter click at all? i just had a battery take a dump with only 23000mi on it. it gets cold here in indiana, but not that cold. haha, mines a garage queen too. also i tihnk we've established that the shaker systems drain power when the car isnt on.might try to turn your radio off before you turn it off. hmm. other than that id say take it to a carquest or autozone and have them check your battery voltage, then check it while the car is running. you should be making 14 volts or so with it running. if you do your charging system should be fine, if not your alternator is bad.

I turn the key and I hear a couple of clicks. All of the gages go on and the electricity turns on in the car, but the actual engine does not. It turns over but won’t fire.
Batteries won't work if they are too cold. I don't have to deal with that problem, but if I were you I'd look into some way of keeping the battery warm when the car isn't on.
I had a solar panel that kept the battery from dying on my last car. Good luck!

However, I don't even know what to do anymore. Ford has checked her out a lot already and keeps sending her back to me. If they can't find the problem, then I don't know how it will be found.

It's under warranty it IS their problem.

pcfrisch has the idea...if they wont fix it id walk in and show them a select finger and say fix it, ill wait in the lobby then pretend im trading in for a gt or a gt500, lol. so just to clear stuff up, youre motor will roll over, act like its going to start but wont? then your battery died from trying so much, and now all u get is the clicking starter? i guess if it sat long enough it could have lost pressure in your fuel rails, try turning your car on (not starting the motor) but when u hear the efi start up, do that 3 or 4 times to get more fuel into your rails, then try to fire it up on a fully charged battery. if that makes sense? good luck
