yea, right under your doors. you can use a set of needle nose pliers. make sure you go to lowes first and get some of those plastic studs though, you will ruin about 1/2 no matter what. just pull and wiggle till they pop out. i used a tool i machined at school, basically turned a flathead screwdriver into a claw, like on a hammer. works great. try newtakeoffs.com i got my white ones from there(they were black stock), match perfectly

they make a nice tool for taking out the plastic clips. i bought one from a snap on truck, but they are around auto parts stores too. its a screwdriver handle with a bent flat paddle with a groove in the middle. works great, worth having for sure. heres a link for the rockers. gt`s fit on the v6 Ford Factory Take off Rocker Mouldings 2005+ Mustang GT

yeah I know what tool you guys mean I have two of them. their called upolstery tools or something like that? I was going to paint the trim panels red to match my car. cause I put a rear valance on the car and it got painted to match, and I was plannin on puttin on a chin spoiler and painting that to match also and I just though the the car would look funny if I didn't paint the rocker panel molding to match also. what do you guys think?

a few guys have sanded the texture off the black rocker panels and painted them. i`ll tell ya, with the cost of paint supplies, you wont beat getting some takeoffs already painted, and they are smooth. if you can get them shot for cheap, try it and see how it goes, post it on here too. worst case, you get the takeoffs. i think since youve done that much, you should do it. i almost orderd the painted ones a couple times, but i like the black on my car. i`m going through the same thing with a scoop. i priced the torch red, paint and supplies, it would cost me 4 times more to shoot it myself than what i can get it shot for.
