Default 2005 Mustang V6 noise in cabin.

I have a stange noise in the cabin of the car. It sounds like a power stearing pump groaning. The noise does not change when I move the wheel. It does change pitch when the idle is changed ie. putting the car in gear or pushing on the pedel. It seems to be louder when the car is started first thing in the morning. But it is still loud after driving for a while. Any ideas or help would be great.

Okiez.

welcome to the forums. my ps pump whines when i start it up when its real cold, but goes away as it warms up. the ps pump was replaced on my car by previous owner though at pretty low milage, but it was due to a leak. have you checked your fluid levels?

I just checked all the fluids that I can. And none of them are low. The noise I am hearing is not loud at all if even noticeable from outside the car with the hood open. But inside the car it drives ne crazy.
