Default Project: MPG with 4.10s

OK I am going to be logging my MPG with an accurate program I bought for my iPhone. I just recently got an 8.8 rear end with 4.10s in it, and I am very curious as to what kind of mpg I am getting now. The app calculates the odometer and how much you filled up (pretty simple) and it uses exact numbers to get exact mileage. I will be exporting the data and hopefully posting it on here in no time. I'll keep posting it up if people start getting more interested. I will also give a rough estimate on how much I was on the highway. The app is called Gas Cubby. I took a screen shot of what one of the menus looks like.
ps I just took a mini road trip to Cleveland from Columbus (2 hrs 20 min aprox). So that was 95% highway. I recorded my first fill up on the trip yesterday.

My God, I've gotten up to 29 mpg highway on long trips, and average 27. Your combination of 4.10 gears, CAI and 93 Race tune got you 14? That's horrid.

You may have just completely killed my desire to get gears.

haha yeah i just bought a set of 4.10's, if he had 14 mpg i'd sell them real fast lol

Its weird that it doesn't tell you the mpg on that chart...kinda pointless?

Expect to see some better results in the future, but here is another screen shot from the app. I have been "testing" them out since I just got over the break in period so I was actually expecting lower mileage haha.

21 is even kind of low... do you floor it at red lights?
I usually see upwards of 25 and didn't expect to go much lower than 23 with 4.10s

during the break in period, not really. After that I allowed myself to really hit it, and then I could not stop smiling.

I'm about to get my 8.8 with 4.10 gears in it. Just waitin' on my tax return money . Does anyone have any numbers as far as a performance increase with the higher gear ratio? Like how much time it can cut off your 0-60? I just want to try and gain some perspective on what to expect, cause I really have no idea . Sorry for the thread-jacking...
