I have a 2006 Mustang with a v-6.I bought it used 2 weeks ago.I had the dealer look at the crankshaft pulley because it has a little bit of wobble in it.They said the crankshaft was o.k. and the slight wobble was no problem.I still disagree and think any wobble on the pulley is unacceptable.Does anyone have any comments on this?Engine only has 28,000 miles on it.

Wobble may be from dampener rubber wear between hub and belt drive. They seldom break, but a purist may ponder replacement.

i dont know about purist, but i couldnt live with a wobbly pully. are you sure its a wobble and not just a illusion, from the belt? i had one come apart on my old truck, but around 200,000+miles

A wobbly pulley is going to contribute additional damaging harmonic vibration to the crankshaft.

It definitly had some movement.After telling dealership I wanted a ford rep. to look at it they ordered a new pulley.I hope that solves the problem.
