Default Mustang 2005 V6.auto tranny alum driveshaft question

Will a GT alum drivshaft slip right on or is there a length/coupler issue?

a gt shaft is completely different from the V6 aluminum one,,you cant make it fit...

the gt`s dont come with aluminum driveshafts. they have a split shaft like the v6, but wont interchange. you get a aluminum from a shop that makes them for the v6. the end can be changed if you ever go to a gt rear end.

some things were just meant to be..

05 V6 auto, torch red, basic,:cool: a few mods
06 V6 stick, vista, premium (g/f`s car)

It all depends on which style GT aluminum driveshaft you are talking about and whether the V-6 is an auto or manual. A GT aluminum driveshaft that is made for use with a replacement pinion flange will work on a V-6 auto. The V-6 manual driveshaft is quite a bit longer. A GT aluminum driveshaft that is designed to be used with an adapter will not work on either V-6 model because it is too short.
