Default Screamin' Deamon Coil Install?

I am seriously considering the Screamin Deamon coil and livewires, however I am wondering what exactly you have to do to install it. I want to be a hundred percent sure of myself before I put it on and mess something up. How hard are they to put on and what must you do to install them?

I just installed mine yesterday...I have JBA wires and new plugs gapped at 55...just take out the old plugs and re-gap or replace them. then make a diagram of the old plug wire positions, remove and replace the coil re install the wires and off you go

Default jba wires

Jimmy I hope you have better luck with the JBA wires then I did, I hab 2 that burnt, when I tried calling JBA I either got no answer or voice mail with no reply to my question about their " lifetime warranty" I said screw'em and went to MSD, been running those for years with no issues, If they would have had a set available when I bought my JBA I would have never wasted my money. How do you like the demon coil? do you notice any difference in throttle response with the X?

when you say "re gap" them, i know there is a tool to do it yourself, but can you buy the plugs pre-gapped to whatever you want it at?

I have had the wires on for about 6k milesbefore putting the coil on,when I changed the plugs the wires seemed to be intact. No problems as of yet.

Havent noticed any response difference as of yet because I havent gotten on it. The weather and roads here are wet and dirty stil .And I havent ben out "testing " yet-

Absolute cake install, I installed mine in abotu 2 hours, mainly because I put on complete new spark plugs lol, if you aren't doing to plugs or gapping them (which you should), you can do it in 15 mins. Ditto on talking to 05Horse, do a search for his thread. It's really not that hard, but he wrote up a superb guide for it.
