Default Sway bar and screamin' demon?

Hey, i've been looking for some new mods to do on my car and so far most people i have talked to told me to add a GT takeoff front and rear sway bar for the suspension and to add the screamin demon coil and livewires that goes with it. I was just wondering if anybody has tried either of these and if they were worth the money? and also if i would need to retune after i installed the screamin demon?

The sway bars will make your ride a lot more solid. You will notice a difference when taking corners.

As for the coil and wires, Hourse05 will vouch for them and no you do not need a tuner.

The sway bars will make a noticable difference, especially the rear sway bar. By far the best cheap suspension upgrade. I don't see what other mods you have, but I would definitely go for cai/tune and exhaust upgrades first. If you have that, the coil and wires will be a nice bolt on. No retune required.

i just ordered the gt sway bar kit, 2 struts,2 shocks, frt and rear swaybars. my cars got about 54,000 and my frt struts rattle a bit. i`m getting the top strut mounts from fords this week. my car should handle like a new car, thats what i`m hoping anyway. the coil and wires are cool too

I've got 72,000 on mine and probably about 50,000 on the GT sway bars. I promise you it is one mod you will not regret.

Say goodbye to the terrifying amount of body roll on the stock v6 suspension and say hello to a useful turning machine.

haha yea I got my coil and wire in and I love em...Idk how much it actually helped in the HP department but it definately seemed to run better...im still waiting on the sway bars but im definately ready for em considering my entire town is one big curve and i feel like i'm looking out of the passenger window at the ground every five seconds lol... how hard was it to install the sway bars? i know the front ones I already have the bolts for it so it shouldn't be that bad but how is the back ones?

I installed the gt rear bar in less than an hour and thats with pulling off the rear wheels for better access and cleaning up the mounting locations. Do you have any pictures or anything to go on?

Im new at this so im not sure how to post attachments yet but if you search this site you will find the pics you need. Thats all I did. As far as the hardware I used factory stuff wich i got off the net at a discount but it still cost me $50 and i can give you the part #s if you want them. You can also get bolts elswere alot cheeper. You will need-

4- 10mm x 30mm plus nuts

2- 12mm x 65mm plus nuts

The factory 12mm nuts have a clip thing to hold them in place for you that also acts as a shim on the top mount. Put in a washer in its place. Make sure to use quality galvanized stuff with nyloc nuts.
Mount the lower ends first then the top mounts and stug it all up. Finaly torgue the 4 smaller lower bolts to 52 FT. LBs. and the 2 top ones to 85 FT. LBs.

Check to make sure the front sway bar is still on there tight. There is the possibility that the bar is loose or too close to the wheel and has made contact causing the nick. Or you have just took a pothole too hard and banged up the wheel.

Are you sure you didnt install it upside down. It looks easy to do. The tag with the bar code should be on the drivers side. Im not sure what wheels you have but there could be an issue with clearence and the 16in stockers. I only say this because i put on 18's before this mod and also noticed that the rear sway bar only comes with the pony package with comes with 17in wheels. Good luck.
