First post here, I am picking up my 2008 V6 Convertible on Thursday, I was looking at it yesterday and was wondering what all the holes are for in the lower grill area. The small ones on each side and the large one in the centre. Are they there for a reason and if not what can I do to fill them in?

Welcome to the forums and AFM. i`m pretty sure they are for air flow for the cooling systems. usually the frt license plate covers most of the middle. ive seen some filler pc`s for the centers, but not sure if you could find them for the pony package. some one here might have the answere

amustangrocks, Thanks for the welcome, we don't have front plates here in Nova Scotia, so that big hole will be visible. I would think that someone would have a way of covering them, even with some honeycomb plastic or something.

im pretty sure it's to direct air flow to the radiator to help cool the engine bay. not positive though. you're lucky you dont have front plates, I took mine off but its technicaly illegal. I just hate having it hang off my bumper..

You might look into an after market grill . I see them all the time on Ebay ,, remember the V6 grill is not the same as a GT ,, Welcome to the board
