Default where to put wideband o2 sensor

okay so I have been working on the h-pipe that I'm going to put on my 05 mustang. and I wanted to know where would be the best place to put a wide band o2 sensor? should I put it in the h-pipe itself, If so where? or should I put it somewhere else in the exhaust system? thanks for all your help.

Upstream of the cats closer to the engine the better. Weld a bung on the drivers side..

okay thanks for the help. Now here's another question do i really have to have a wide band o2 sensor if I plan to go f/I and put a super charger on my car in the future? or can i just use a normal o2 sensor.

get a wide band.

i got a narrow. i dont mind it it does what i need to but not many ppl like them

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...tall-tech.html

the wire on ur pcm that says o2 sensor wire. i was told to probe another area but it never did work. i ran a wire through the engine bay, through hose that wsa there over around the front of the fuse box in to the side, then out the other side to that wire, cut and wired in, wrapped back up in tape. then the rest is already hidden

the ground is a ground and the link tells where i found my keyed hot and fuse.

i got my gauge pod on ebay its a roush pod,$20 bucks i love it!

Wideband goes before the cats. Easiest place on the 4.0 is, pass side between the header flange and cat. You do have to lower the cat/pipe to weld the bung.
