Well, guys I have been talking here and there about what I am going to do with my Stang once I return from this deployment. During my down time here in Afghanistan I started buying all the parts I wanted through bargaining with members from various forums, shopping ebay, and buying new parts. I couldn't contain my enthusiasm any longer and asked the wife to take the car to a trusted friend to start the installation of some parts before my return. I know, I know I threw away my part in taking a personal hand in working on my car, but I wanted the Stang to be ready for my return. Here are some progress / teaser photos. I will be uploading more in the next day or two showing the rest of the various upgrades! Take a look at my exhaust photo and you can see a lot of suspension upgrades in there and also my exhaust is completely custom made using components from different kits out there. My goal was to get a complete dual exhaust installed for under 350.00 and get the look I wanted. What do you guys think so far?
WoW that sounds like its going to be one amazing mustang. Congrats on everything and hope you come home safe!

if those are the tip covers, i like those too. they just have to be tack welded in place over the stock tips. those look like different mufflers to me, not just tips.

not the muffler tip itself but the thing attached to the bumper covering the cut out on the bumper

The wheels are a staggered set of FR500s 18x9 / 18x10. It looks like there is a lot of space between the wheel and fender because the car is on a jack. The car has been lowered so when I get the full car photos the wheels will look awesome, even more than they do!
The mufflers are actually not American Thunders. They are stock GT mufflers w/custom tips welded on and then painted flat black using engine paint to withstand high temps. I bought them from 08MachGT and just had to repaint them for he had already put those tips on there. The rest of the exhaust is dynomax (xpipe, midpipes) and a set of FRPP bumper inserts from the FRPP exhaust kit. A forum member (Viper?) was very nice and sent me a set he had that wasn't being used.
The tune hasn't been done yet. It will be the last thing done after everything is installed. More than likely I will have Doug from Bama do it or my friend who is doing everything now.
Shoe48 - My friend who is doing everything is from Marietta, OH and is a friend from my wife's side of the family. He owns his own shop and if your interested I can hook you up with him.
