Default Throttle Body Spacer

I've been seeing alot of throttle body spacers, do these improve performance? and I have custom tunes written, would I have to buy new tunes for that mod? Any help on this will be appreciated.

STAY AWAY!!!! The spacers don't really do much for power, they work fairly well as paper weights though. If you do make the mistake and throw the money down the toliet, it does not require any new tunes.

well i bought a throttle body spacer for 30 bucks, and i think it was worth it because it sounds like a mini supercharger (REALLY MINI) during WOT in 1st and second gear. and i dont beleive that it does NOTHING. even if it adds .1 HP im happy, but thats just me
