How hard is this CAI to install? What benifits have you experienced using them (HP and/or response)? Does this require a tune? It does not say on their website. Thanks for helping out the old noob.

i'm not sure if the K&N requires a tune but regardless you should get one to get maximum results from the CAI. With a good custom tune on an sct xcal 3 from bamachips or brenspeed and the CAI you could see up to 20 hp increase.

extremely easy to install. I've never touched anything under my hood before and was able to do it in 30 minutes.

I found on their website that they do NOT require a tune. I have to get these pieces at a time so I wanted to pick one that didn't require a tune right off the bat. After the CAI I will get a tuner so those 20 hp are coming.

i bought a cai that said that it didnt require a tune but my check engine light still came on better safe with a tune than with your check engine light on you could damage your engine
