anybody have any pictures of this grill installed think I want black but not sure.

HERE IT IS ON MY WIFES 09.....INSTALATION TOOK ABOUT 5 MIN FROM START TO FINISH...OOps' caps lok was on.....Whatever you do DO NOT follow the directions in the box. They have you taking the front end off of the car...all you have to do is romove the plastic screws from the cover above the exsisting grill under the hood. Then with a flat blade screw driver just unhook the locking tabs that hold the original grill in place and snap in the 3d carbon...re-install the cover with the plastic holder pins and your done...if you need more info just ask....here is the picture of the 09 with it installed..........

man, that looks sharp all chrome too. is it a light, brittle feeling plastic or soft tough plastic like the oem?

It's not the heavy plastic like the oem grill, It does feel kinda brittle i guess,but i dont think its very "crack" prone either. We got the 09 in october and put the grill on about a week after getting the car, We have had the car in storage since and only have 500 miles on it. I guess the spring and summer will tell how it will hold up. I just get a feeling that the chrome is going to be more of an issue than the plastic itself. I suppose i should mention that i felt it necissary to hold onto the original grill just in case...

Thanks great to know about not having to take off the front bumper. Looks good on her car not sure how it would go on mine as mine is all black and has tinted front signals and a cervini b2 front spoiler your 09 sounds like my 08 but at least i got 4k on it before winter.

i choose a complete chrome piece without the pony symbol. imo i like it better then the standard black one.
