Need Advice!! gt sway bars idea

i have heard about people putting on the front and rear sway bars off of a gt on the v6. and i want to know if it is hard to do. like does it bolt right in there or do you have to modify it. please let me know thanks

bolts right in. if you have a pony package theyre bigger in diameter i believe...if you dont have it al all i hear its a great handling performance mod.

Def bolts right up and can usually fine them for a good price on Ebay.

i dont have the pony package so do i not have the sway bars at all or are they just small. thanks

Your car will have a front sway bar just not as large as a Gt one ,, This is a very good and Cheap upgrade

so it would it make a big differnce to just do the back or would it not really matter if i did the back with gt sway bar and leave the front the stock v6 sway bar. thanks for all the help

ya, just the back is really gonna help alot. you can leave the frt alone, but the gt frt is alot thicker. i also used the gt takeoff struts and shocks, and the handling with all that is like a different car( but i have 55,000 miles on it) the rear is very easy to install.

Keep an eye on ebay for good deals. I paid $32 shipped for mine, but its was like 3 years ago.

And I had to buy hardware (nuts and bolts) for the rear bar, which cost me like $8.

yeah real easy to put on I did the front on ramps and rear i just slide under the car but i have 18" wheels heard that the guys with smaller wheels have to pull the rear wheels for clearance when putting the back on. I have an extra set of gt bars I want to sell.

how much are you asking for them. and i have 18 inch wheels so that shouldnt be a problem

I have 16" wheels and just slid under my car to install as well.

Shouldn't be a problem, but you are going to need ramps for the front.

I'm 5'7" and about 160lbs, so yeah, pretty thin.

Being smaller has its advantages and disadvantages though, like everything else...
