I'm nearing the first oil change in my used '07, and I thought I'd get that drain valve upgrade for it. I'm the kind of guy that will appreciate what it offers, so $27 shipped is an acceptable trade off for me.
I want to know if I've got the right one selected, though.
1. I chose
Ford off the list on
their homepage.
2. I chose
<02> 2.8L, 2.9L, 3.0L, 3.2L, 3.4L, 3.8L, 4.0L on the
next list, because it lists 4.0 and that's obviously what I have.
3. It gives me the page for the
F-106 model of their product, which lists the main part and then some accessories and such.
The Nipple version is interesting, but I'll pass on that feature this time.
This begs the question: Is the
F-106 Regular Valve the correct part, and if it is, do I need the
Adaptor version of it?
