I was wanting to put a pair of shorty headers on my 06 mustang v6. is it worth it? does it give it more power or make it louder? and does anyone know what kind Ford would put on that wouldn't break the warranty?
Bought a set of Ebay headers for 100.00 and they (since they cost so little) from what my friend who installed them said was a good purchase and he said it improved my performance slightly and made my exhaust note sound better.
shorty headers wont make a big difference and its really worth the money unless you find some cheap. they may add a few horsepower and a little louder sound but not much. now long tube headers would probaly amke alot of difference in both sound and performance

not really worth it in my opinion i have bbk and all they did was make my loudmouths louder not that they needed to be louder then what they already are!!!!!!

100 bucks for something shiney under the hood i think is worth it. the rusty stock ones are disgusting looking. plus a few horsies here or there dont hurt. louder is always better as well!

i was told by mike at powerhouse that and doug from bamachips that they arent good for hardly any horsepower maybe 1-2 rwhp and since im F/I i might have gained 5-6 rwhp from it
it wasnt worth it in my opinion but its been about a year and they still look shiny so i guess thats a plus
