Email Tune to my 2008 Mustang V6

When I order a tune via email what am I going to have to do to load the tune to my tuner. And also I was going to go with Bama. But I dont know much about any of the dealers. Are any them superior to the others?

that depends on the tuner you have. SCT has a program you can download for free to a laptop or other computer. Hook up the tuner to your computer and load the tune on it. then load it on the car.

Sounds complicated,did to me,but to my amazement I did it.

I have Bama's tunes (for my Predator). They really wake up the car, and are a HUGE improvement over the stock tune and also the Predator canned tune. You really can't go wrong with Bama, Breenspeed, or Tillman. They are all great tuners and have a great reputation here on AFM.

Is your car a stick or auto? I have heard Bama does great for an auto.
It is pretty simple to load the tune onto your tuner. Just need the software and a cable to run from your computer. If you have a laptop you can power it from your car, but if not you will need to buy a power pack (at least for the Predator).

go to sct site, there are 3 programs you can download. only download device update to your computer( i put it on my desktop). dont download firmware or drivers. save your email tune to your desktop.click on the sct icon and it will set up the device update program. use a printer cable to hook your sct to your usb port. open the sct device update program, select the liveload botton, and follow the promps.

I just received my order from bama and am having alot of trouble with getting the tune to my tuner. I think its because I have a MacBook. If anyone has any input on solving my problems that would be appreciated.

i would find someone with a pc and use their computer. what seems to be the problem?

Ok I used my GF's PC and downloaded the software update and firmware(Not successfully I dont think) and then pugged my X3 in and nothing. I tried everything I could think of. I just cant get the freakin tune to my freakin tuner!!
