Personally I like the tan top (although you can get cloth in black)-less common, a little easier to maintain.

Little less heat and fading than black. Black top is kind of like black paint-looks great clean but a little dirt really shows up.

Personally I vote black. Yes you would have to keep it clean and it may fade but I'm not a fan of blue and tan. It's a good combo for interior but for a vert top it doesn't have the same appeal to me. Just my 2 cents

summers coming. Do not replace the top. You can have the best of both worlds, put it down and put the black boot cover on it, everyone will think its black. The tan interior with the black boot will make a nice contrast. The experience I have had with many verts, once you remove that original top, no other top will be as quiet or as well fitting as the original. IMO the tan top makes your car look more unique and less cookie cutter.

If you want to see what it would like with the black top. Take a look at my pictures. My O7 is Windveil Blue with the black top. Tan and black on the inside.

Changing the top can cost up to $1800 - leave it and put that money into other things.

Tan will always look nice no matter how dirty it gets. Black is high maintenance to keep looking nice. Get one windy day with a lot of dust and the tan still looks like new while the black looks like someone barfed on it.
