Default I want to be lower

ok so I wanna be lower to get that wheel gap down as much as possible without sacrificing a ton of ride quality. I do not do a lot of driving on bumpy roads. I am basically looking to gain appearance and as much performance as possible without having to get new shocks. can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

I am considering these H&R Super Sport Springs (2005+ GT/V6) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

1 1/2 inches in back is about as low as you really want (or need) to go.

Well there is a time and place for cheap, you will have to pull the struts anyways so most people just replace them while there at it with better ones...I have a koni coil over kit with matching springs on my Cobra, the labor was the most expensive part of it all...but it rides fabulously and was well worth the investment

You want to get lower, without giving up ride quality, and replacing your shocks. If you don't replace your shocks, you will definetly give up ride quality. Reason being, what ever you drop your car 1" 1.5" you just lost that travel in your shock that you need for the ride quality you don't want to lose. When ever you drop your car, you have to compensate the shock travel. Not only for ride quality, but also for safety. You may not want to spend the money, Obama hasn't come up with a stimulus for the car enthusiest yet. With any mod, has to come another to go with it or it's not going to work right, Mike. SCT Tuner.

Well, I am digging this up. I am now ready to spend roughly 400$ including labor to get lower. Any suggestions? I am highly considering this set Eibach Pro-Kit Springs (05-09 V6) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

I just really want to corner better and get less wheel gap. If I need exceptional handling down the road for whatever reason, I will save up more than 400$ to get it. I understand its hard to be cheap when it comes to suspension.
