Default 2005 Mustang Hood Struts Installed pics

Rainy and cold day here in Mo. but a good day to play under the hood. i got the ultimate hood struts from moss muscle installed. i didnt see them online, but its a new item in the catalog. the painted brackets to match car colors are awesome, and they sit way back in the corner out of the way. its so nice to NOT have the rod. you can pm david at moss for a discount.

They look excellent. How was the install? Any drilling? Also, they sit so far back...do they seem heavy-duty enough to stand that angle?

Again, they look good. I am looking for some billitt looking ones, bracket and strut. However, I do like how far back yours are.

they install real easy, uses the 2 factory hinge bolts for the top bracket and 1 factory fender bolt for the bottom. they have a aluminum looking one you might like. they seem perfect for strength. after you lift the hood half way, they take over and lift it real slow the rest of the way and hold it up nice. these go on my list of the best mods ive done to my car.

I'll consider these. They do not have my color (Alloy) but maybe they will. Thanks.

Your engine bay just gets better and better looking each day! Its nice that no drilling is required, I may have to get a set for myself one of these days!

At the moment, no . I'm sure we can get one, shouldn't be a problem. I just got off the phone with C.P.C. and they noted the S197 05' Red is different compared to the 09' Red. What year make is the car?

Great looking install
Why does the picture show a tungsten grey set up when there is no option to order that color?

do they come in chrome? id like to get a set too..hate using the rod cuz it gets in the way sometimes. does it close nice too? i think iv heard of a few guys who closed their hood and for some reason it bent the hood up? maybe i heard wrong but thats the only reason i dont have any. everytime u put somethin on your car its something iv considered before. it helps to see the install before you buy stuff. thanks again! haha
