Default 2008 Mustang V6-Are strut bars worth it?

Im looking to buy a strut bar for my 08. It $80 and I wanted to know if it really makes a solid difference in your handling. Also, does the manufacturer matter or are they all about the same in performance and durability? Thanks.

You may see some difference on the road course, but in street driving, it is more for show.

I have front and rear strut bars. I had caster plates, subframes, extremem matrix brace and jacking rails put on all at the same time. I saw MAJOR difference, but how much I can attribute to the strut bars, I don't know. I know the car handles better than a Porsche!

I can see the benefits on a '99, but the S197 is a stiffer chassis. While it will help with hard cornering on a road course, in daily driving I see no advantage. Mine is more eye candy than functional.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

I have one by Ford Racing and it did make some difference. I dont know about one for $80.00. I had to pay just over 300.00 for mine but its money well spent!

I have the Shelby CS Strut brace ( CS Strut Tower Brace: Performance &amp Strut Tower Brace - Shelby Performance Parts LLC. ) I chose it because it was secured better than the 2-bolt mounts (it uses 4 on each tower) and it was somewhat cheaper than the agent 47 and aluminum Shelby bars ....From driving it for a week i can say my car feels more confident on hard turns. Noteable situations in every day driving: coming into a far left/right lane turn faster than normal, sharp coiling freeway onramps at moderately higher speeds, and.....thats about it! It looks pretty too.

note: if this bar is ordered, i suggest buying 8 wide 1/2" washers from the local hardware store so the screws dont half-way fall in the mounting holes.

Hope this was of any help.
edit: an image i took on day 1. http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/5...4356130381.jpg
(couldnt figure out the embedding code even with the "example page")
