You would not want to get it repaired with that kind of damage, never the same.
Typically insurance companies total at 75-80% of book. If you have any mods try to pull them off while it is in the yard.

Glad to hear you are ok. That is awful I can't even imagine how mad I would be if someone cut me off like that and caused a wreck. Can you press charges on something like this? I mean really that kid shouldn't be allowed to drive if he is putting others lives at danger over his ego.
On another note, If it does get totalled, at least around here, there are a lot and I mean a lot of new and used mustangs for sale for ridiculous prices. Do some shopping and you should find an amazing deal.

Man sorry to hear about that, especially with as much time and money you've put into that car. I don't know if the insurence company totaled the car if I would want to buy it back, that usually means its pretty screwed up. Do you have some pictures of the damage? I'd like to see how bad it was squashed.

hey guys thanks for all the support! ya my body hurt like a mo fo for the past two days and today is the first time back to work and its killing me. unfortunatly i dont have any pics of the wreck i was more involved with my fiance and the other drivers and how they were doing then my stang. sorry the nurse just took charge of everything. i was ambulanced in to my hospital and when i was leaving my car was still sitting on the road with pieces hanging off. i dont even know where exactly they took my or the other cars. insuraqnce company has mine, where is another story.... im hoping that i get to keep my car with the wrench time i put into it. thanks for all the support i hear the final result for weither or not its gonna be totalled tomorrow. im praying like no other.....

ok got off the phone witht eh insurance sompany and they are gonna total it!!!!!! i asked what would help to keep them from totaling it. they said my car needs pretty much new body panels! i need new rear and front, bumpers, quarterpanels, trunk and hood. i asked if i can take care of buying the front and rear bumper if it would help to keep the price down from totalling it. they said that they would have to talk it over and think about it.

There are crooks that go around and set up to get hit in the rear to collect insurance.They look for nice cars and figure that the driver will have good insurance.This is an old scam.Glad you're ok and hope you get a new car .
