Default 2007 Mustang V6-electrical problem

My father has a 2007 V6 mustang and we noticed that sometimes the lights flash on and off real quick like when you are locking the doors, but nobody is pushing the remote button. Just out of the blue it does it. Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem?

i havent noticed that problem on either of our V6`s. are you sure someones not messin with you with the spare keys? but there has been reported cases of mustangs being possesed. sometimes out of the blue, the guages will fly towards the full clockwise position, its crazy i know.
( note: i am not admitting this is my car nor do i condone the use of excessive speeds on pulic roads )

If you have the active alarm, if lock the doors and shut them, the lights will flash. Or if you hit the lock button on the remote the lights will flash if the doors are already shut. Is the remote in his pocket?

If you have the factory alarm installed the programming does this. Hit the lock button on your key fob and stand there and count around 15 seconds. That is when the lights should flash. If you hit the lock button on the key fob twice within 3 seconds the lights should flash a third time right after you hit the lock button the second time. If you don't know if you have the factory alarm system installed, look below the steering wheel about where your knees would be if you were sitting in the drivers seat. If there is a little LED there with a button behind it, you have the alarm.
