i`m gonna guess your either not getting it turned just right to go in a little to where it turns and locks in, or, youve got the wrong bulbs. look real close and see. if theres no chance it will go in, wrong bulb.

I had the same problem with some Silverstars I put in a while back. One of the three tabs on the bulb was ever so slightly too thick to turn and lock into the socket. A few seconds to shave and smooth the tab on the bulb with a small file fixed it.

did you put the bulbs all the way locked into the clamp things?

Did you try turning them while you were putting them back into the headlight, the arrows on top have to match up. Keep twisting.

If that doesn't work, wrong bulb.

Post a link so we can help more.

the bulb is the right one. Just like Bullmeister one of the tabs was to thick so i filed it down and it popped right in.

Thanks for all the advice!
