Tempature / fan control dials not working in 06 mustang

I recently had an aftermarket Sony stereo installed in my 2006 convertible. The day after the install I noticed that the AC, rear defrost, fan and temperature controls were not working. I took the car back to the installer and they checked to make sure the wire harnesses were plugged back in as well I checked the fuses.

Any suggestions?

Check the wires again......you do it. They are located under the passenger dash. There are two plugins. Check them both. It's a tight squeeze in there but I managed it.

I took mine to the dealer for a TSB fix and when I got it back, my selectors wouldn't do anything. Just a slight breeze coming through the vents. One of my wires had gotten unplugged.

Clearly it's install-related.

I ended up taking my car to the dealership. The tech found that one of the connector pins got bent when the unit was plugged back in. Of note the stereo was installed at a Future shop and they took care of the bill, plus a little extra.
