Default 2005 Mustang V6-Steeda Underdrive Pulley Question

I was just wondering if anyone had installed this, and if it helps even in the slightest bit with gas and some power. I'm not supercharging, so I don't want to hear it's a waste if you plan on supercharging.

I'm not sure about the V6 but it helped a bit on my GT(roush UDP). I think its worth it..especially if you aren't gonna SC it. Its only a couple hundred bucks and if you like workin on your car....DO IT!

My girlfriend calls it a waste of money, but I see it as saving money(and time away from her) if I install it myself

I gotta say. I dont know why people really care about MPG unless they are commuting 2 hours/day to work. If you want MPG, get a focus or something.

If you got a mustang, make it faster, and faster and faster. a couple dollars in gas doesn't concern me. Thats just me tho.

yeah cause a focus is soooo cool NOT! If you make you mustang more efficient it will also have more power how you use the power will make a difference on mpg. Other than gears most performance mods would help some. There is a huge thread over on the explorer forums about aguy getting over 30 mpg with his 2 wheel drive explorer. He went with under drive pullies and picked up some mpgs but had to switch to an overdrive pully for his alt to keep the power up in traffic.
