Default 2007 Mustang needs a little rear end support

Hi! I have a gently used 2007 v-6 mustang that looks, rides and runs great! I want to raise the rear end by 1", but leave the front end alone. Does any body have any ideas as to how to do this with out using the mechanical coil spring jack bolt clamp from JC Whitney or installing air shocks? I also saw that someone else suggested getting a set of adjustable lower control arms that would raise the rear end...but I do not like this idea because it would 'twist' the drive line and suspension.

Late the other night at the library I was surfing the net looking for ideas and somewhere in an e-catalog, I thought I saw a pair of polyurethane spacer pads that fit between the lower end of the rear coil spring and the lower control arm for a 2004 and older application. I can't find that web page again. Does any body know if these really exist and if they will fit on the 2005-2008 rear spring set up?

Yes they are for real , The Lifters were designed for sagging springs there are several types of lifters ,, The Rubber rings are one style there is also a two bolt clamp like thing that can either lower or raise your car , dont forget the twisty things that you twist in ,, Not sure why you would want to raise the rear as most stock 197 sit tail high already You could try to replace with taller springs , BUT have no idea on which ones you might need

maybe i`m wrong but, it seems that if you raised the body, like with the clamp raising things, you would also have to get some kind of adjustable upper control arm since the rear end would turn up with the body. its gonna be more complicated than the old mustangs. we used to use those clamps back in the 70`s to raise the frts, and airshocks in the rear. but it didnt effect the rear end as it wasnt anchored to the body like these new ones. i think the coil springs in the rear is kinda chinsy. i liked the leafs and ladder bars maybe if you could find a custom spring shop, they could make some, then it would just be adjusting the rear end angle.

You may consider dropping the front an inch instead. It should give you that same leaning forward look. It looked good on mine.

I was just about to say the same thing. Put some big ole tires in the back, and simply buy lowing springs for the front, and it will give you the look your after.

Default I'm thinking....

I don't want to necessarily raise but I won't eliminate any sag or squatting when I'm on my way to a show or vacation when the trunks full, so I'm thinking an airbag in the coil spring from Airlift or Air Ride. I think it would also lift depending on how much air.
