Default 2008 Mustang V6-Bigger throttle body help!

About a month ago I was on R&R from Afghanistan and I went to a Ford Dealership in Colorado Springs to have my Ford Racing V6 Dual Exhaust kit installed along with my 70mm BBK Throttle body. They didn't want to install the throttle body because the mechanic felt that it along with my K&N CAI would make it run to lean and probably not work. What are your opinions, will it make my 08 V6 run lean? Is a progammer tune necessary? Do I need to install a bigger MAF with it too? HELP!!!!

NO it wont run lean, however i used to have a bbk throttle body and all it did was keep throwing codes and throttle flaps kept getting stuck i also felt no power difference and was more of a annoyance then a assett in my opinion. however if you still decide to install a tune is not necessary cause tuners don't really think throttle bodies increase air flow that much. i traded mine for my sequentials and i actually preferred the sequentials to my throttle body.

The mechanic is probably right. It will allow for a "little" more airflow, and the K&N is already borderline for running lean. If I were you, I would sell the BBK, it is known for throwing codes and misfunctioning, and it really doesn't help. A tuner is a great mod however.
